This training presents the clinical symptoms of shaken baby syndrome, the situations that can lead to losing control when faced with a crying baby, and ways to anticipate and reduce frustration, anger, and stress when caring for a baby or young child.

This training document provides tools to:

• Recognize the signs of shaken baby syndrome
• Develop strategies to maintain self-control
• Identify high-risk situations to help prevent shaken baby syndrome
• Understand how to report cases of abuse while ensuring personal protection

Training duration: 6 hours, including 2 hours on child development, 2 hours on the educational program, and 2 hours on child safety.
